Job summary

Major Recruitment seeks a Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer in the Cheltenham/Gloucester area to manage and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring security, scalability, and alignment with business needs.

You will lead infrastructure projects, implement ISO 27001, GDPR and Cyber Essentials controls, coordinate with vendors, and develop disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure high availability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Experience securing infrastructure with ISO 27001, GDPR, and Cyber Essentials.
• Proven ability to manage multiple infrastructure projects and lead teams.

Responsibilities

• Manage and optimize the company’s IT infrastructure to ensure security, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
• Lead infrastructure projects including migrations, rollouts, and network enhancements.
• Oversee disaster recovery planning and business continuity testing; ensure robust cybersecurity measures.
