Job summary

Perfect Management Limited is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to visit client sites in Watford and surrounding areas to install, configure, and maintain end-user workstation hardware, software, and peripherals. The role includes managing a team of Field Engineers and covering London and the Home Counties.

Candidate must have 5+ years in a working with customers on site, a full clean driving licence, and extensive Microsoft server/desktop experience including Hyper-V, VMware, AD, Exchange,

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as IT Field Engineer in a customer-facing role.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Based in or willing to travel across London and Home Counties.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain workstation hardware, software and peripherals on client sites.
• Manage a team of Field Engineers.
• Provide 2nd line support to customers when not on site.

Job description

My client is a well established IT solutions organisation based in Watford, Herts, who are seeking an experienced Field Engineer to go to client sites to install, configure and maintaining end user workstation hardware, software and peripheral devices on site.The role also involve managing a team of Field Engineers.Covering London and the Home Counties.Candidates must have a full clean driving licence and at least 5 years experience as an IT Field Engineerin a customer facing type of role.

Must have the following experience:-

• Microsoft Server and Desktop operating systems (SBS/2012/2016/2019 Server/7/8/10)
• Core Microsoft infrastructure technologies and solutions (Exchange, IIS, AD, RDS)
• Hyper-V, Xen Centre, VMWare
• Backup technologies including Veeam, Cloud Connect, Acronis, Backup Exec
• Server hardware maintenance and troubleshooting

This role is a dual role.When not out at customers sites you will be in the office providing 2 nd Line Support to customers over the phone.

If you are a qualified Senior Field Engineer, with experience of man managing a team of Engineers, at least 5 years experience of a working with customers on their site and are looking to join a forward thinking and growing organisation.

The role is based in Watford, Herts but will cover London the Home Counties.You willalso need to have a full clean driving licence.

If you have at least 5 years in a similar role and ready to step up to a senior role managing a team and have all the above mentioned relevant experience.
