Job summary

Grant Thornton in London is seeking an IT Audit Senior Manager to lead end-to-end IT audits across a portfolio of financial services clients. You will report directly to directors and partners, shaping audit strategy and ensuring high-quality delivery across banking, insurance and fintech clients.

You’ll oversee teams, manage risks and contribute to proposals, with strong knowledge of ITGCs, ISA 315, SOC 1/ISAE 3402 and FCA/PRA considerations. Flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification required (ACA/ACCA/CA or international equivalent).
• Significant IT audit experience in financial services.
• Experience overseeing IT audit engagements end-to-end and supervising teams.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end IT audit engagements across a portfolio of banking, insurance, asset management, fintech and payments clients.
• Report directly to directors and partners, keeping them informed of progress, risks and issues.
• Plan, perform and review testing of ITGCs and application controls; align IT audits with financial statement risk.
• Provide assurance to support financial statement audits and regulatory requirements (SOC 1/ISAE 3402, CASS, FCA/PRA).
• Review and sign off deliverables; escalate complex issues early with recommended responses.
• Build relationships with finance, technology and information security leaders and audit committees.
