Job summary

Grant Thornton UK is seeking an IT Audit Senior Manager to lead IT audit engagements across a portfolio of financial services clients in London. You will own end-to-end audits, report to directors and partners, and guide multi-location teams while linking IT risk to the financial statement audit.

You'll hold ACA/ACCA/CA or CISA/CISM/CRISC, with significant FS IT audit experience. Knowledge of ITGCs, ISA UK 315, and UK regulators (FCA/PRA) will help you drive quality and client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Professional qualification (ACA/ACCA/CA or international equivalent) with relevant FS IT audit experience.
• Significant IT audit experience in financial services, ideally in a Big 4 or mid-tier firm.
• Experience overseeing IT audit engagements end-to-end and supervising teams.
• Ability to report to directors and partners and link IT risk to the financials.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end IT audit engagements across a portfolio of FS clients.
• Report to directors and partners, keeping them informed of progress and risks.
• Plan, perform and review testing of ITGCs and application controls.
• Provide assurance that supports the financial statement audits and SOC/ISAE work.
• Review and sign off deliverables; escalate complex issues early.
• Build relationships with finance, technology and information security leaders.
• Contribute to proposals, tenders and client conversations.
• Manage engagement financials including scoping, budgeting and resourcing.
• Lead and coach multi-location and offshore teams; uphold quality.
