Job summary

Grant Thornton UK LLP in London is seeking an IT Audit Senior Manager to lead a portfolio of financial services IT audits. You will report to directors and partners and shape how we win work while maintaining delivery quality.

You will oversee end-to-end IT audit engagements across banking, insurance, asset management, fintech and payments, plan and review ITGCs and application controls, and build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• A professional qualification ACA/ACCA/CA or international equivalent is required.
• Experience leading IT audit engagements within financial services.
• Experience owning a portfolio, reporting to directors and partners.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end IT audit engagements across banking, insurance, asset management, fintech and payments clients
• Report directly to directors and partners, keeping them informed of progress, risks and issues
• Plan, perform and review testing of IT general controls (ITGCs), application controls and information produced by the entity
• Provide assurance that supports financial statement audits and IT regulatory requirements (SOC 1/ISAE 3402, FCA)
• Review and sign off deliverables and escalate where needed
• Build new business relationships with finance, technology and information security leaders
• Contribute to proposals, tenders and client conversations, and spot opportunities for our wider teams
• Manage engagement financials from scoping and budgeting to resourcing and fee recovery
• Lead and coach multi-location and offshore teams
