National Highways invites applications for an IT Audit Manager within the Corporate Risk and Assurance division of the Business Services Directorate. You will lead IT audits, manage a team, and ensure robust risk management, internal controls, and governance across the organisation.

The role involves planning priorities, resource management, and delivering assurance engagements. Some travel to regional offices will be required while base from any UK office.

Qualifications

• CISA or equivalent professional qualification required.
• Significant experience leading and developing IT audit teams and setting objectives.
• Experience developing audit strategies and annual audit plans for complex engagements.
• Strong report-writing and communication skills for Executive and Board-level stakeholders.
• Significant IT and OT audit experience with knowledge of technology risk, controls, cyber security and enterprise applications.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver the IT audit programme with timely, high-quality results.
• Provide day-to-day guidance and management of auditors on assignments.
• Review audit documentation from terms of reference to final report and action tracking.
• Present audit findings at senior meetings and act as a trusted business advisor.
• Build relationships with senior clients and stakeholders based on professional trust.
