Job summary

National Highways is seeking an IT Audit Manager to join the Corporate Risk and Assurance division within the Business Services Directorate. The role spans planning, supervising, and delivering IT internal audits, advisory and assurance engagements, with travel to regional UK offices as needed.

You will manage an audit team, review documentation from terms of reference to report, and present findings to senior stakeholders, acting as a trusted business advisor.

Qualifications

• Qualified IT auditor with CISA or equivalent.
• Experience leading IT audit teams and planning audits.
• Knowledge of COBIT, ITIL and NIST CSF frameworks.
• Strong report-writing and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver IT audit programme with adequate resources.
• Lead and develop an auditing team on assignments.
• Review audit documentation from terms of reference to report.
• Present at senior meetings and board-level stakeholders.
• Build relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
