Job summary

National Highways is seeking an IT Audit Manager to join the Corporate Risk and Assurance division within the Business Services Directorate. You will lead planning, supervision and delivery of IT internal audits, advisory and assurance engagements, and help develop robust risk, control and governance processes.

The role is based across UK offices with some travel to regional offices; you will lead auditors, review documentation from terms of reference to reports, and present findings to senior

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading IT audit teams, including line management.
• Ability to set objectives, priorities and expectations to drive performance.
• Experience developing audit strategies and annual plans for risk-based assurance.

Responsibilities

• Plan, supervise and deliver IT internal audits, advisory and assurance engagements.
• Develop and deliver the IT audit plan with prioritised resources.
• Review audit documentation from TOR to final report to ensure quality.
• Present key findings at senior meetings and to Board-level stakeholders.
• Build strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders on trust.
