Job summary

National Highways seeks an IT Audit Manager to lead a team within Corporate Risk and Assurance. You will plan, supervise and deliver IT audits, providing independent assurance on risk management, controls and governance across the organisation.

The role may be based in any UK office with some travel to regional offices for meetings. You will develop audit plans, manage resources, and report findings to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading and developing IT audit teams, including line management.
• Proven ability to set clear objectives, priorities and expectations to drive high performance and development.
• Experience developing audit strategies and annual plans, and leading complex, risk-based engagements.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of IT internal audits and assurance engagements.
• Present audit findings at senior meetings and board-level reviews.
• Develop and implement robust IT audit plans and resource allocation.
• Review audit documentation from terms of reference to final report with high quality standards.
• Build strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders based on trust.
