Job summary

National Highways invites applications for an IT Audit Manager within the Corporate Risk and Assurance division. You will lead the IT audit programme, ensuring high-quality risk assessment, internal control and governance reviews across the organisation.

The role requires extensive IT/OT audit experience, a CISA or equivalent qualification, and the ability to develop audit strategies and manage teams. Some travel to regional offices will be required, with office-based work across UK locations.

Qualifications

• CISA or equivalent qualification required.
• Significant IT and OT audit experience.
• Proven ability to lead and develop IT audit teams.
• Experience developing audit strategies and annual plans.
• Strong report-writing and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the IT audit team, planning and delivering the audit programme.
• Provide oversight of audit documentation from terms of reference to final report.
• Present key audit findings to senior stakeholders and Board-level audiences.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.
• Contribute to IT audit plan prioritisation and resource alignment.
