Job summary

South Ribble and Chorley Councils are seeking a Senior IT Applications Analyst to lead the development, optimisation and support of our business systems. The role is based across South Ribble and Chorley Councils and is a permanent, full-time post with 36.25 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge and experience of IT business systems.
• Experience with the delivery of IT business system projects.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications.

Responsibilities

• Plan, configure and enhance the council's IT business systems.
• Collaborate with services and suppliers to identify, design and implement system improvements.
• Deliver complex systems projects from inception to completion.
• Provide expert technical advice, troubleshooting and IT system support.
• Support the training of staff in relation to business systems & data. Promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
• Maintain and develop documentation and data sets.
