Job summary

G2 Legal Limited seeks a Senior Associate/Partner-level Solicitor to join its commercial IP practice, handling sophisticated IT, licensing, SaaS and technology agreements. The role emphasises client relationships, ownership of significant matters and business development within a specialist IP environment.

With approximately 4–8+ years' PQE, you will advise on commercial agreements and IP exploitation, working closely with clients to align legal strategies with business goals and growth plans

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with approximately 4–8+ years' PQE.
• Strong experience in non-contentious commercial law.
• Demonstrable experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements.
• Experience across IT, technology and/or IP-related matters.

Responsibilities

• Advising clients on complex non-contentious commercial and IP matters.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating sophisticated commercial and IT agreements.
• Advising on IP licensing, assignment and commercialisation arrangements.
• Handling software licensing and SaaS agreements.
• Advising on collaboration, R&D and technology development agreements.
• Advising on supply, distribution, agency and other commercial contracts.
• Supporting clients with exploitation and protection of IP and technology.
• Managing significant client matters with autonomy.
• Building and maintaining client relationships and business development.
