An exciting opportunity has arisen for aSenior Associate/Partner-level Solicitor with approximately 4–8+ years' PQEto join the firm's Legal team and play a key role within its non-contentious commercial IP practice. The position will focus on advising clients on sophisticated commercial and technology transactions, with intellectual property sitting at the heart of much of the work.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to handle a varied and high-quality caseload coveringcommercial agreements, IT and technology contracts, IP licensing and assignments, software and SaaS arrangements, collaboration and R&D agreements, as well as supply, distribution and other commercial arrangements. The role will involve advising clients on the development, exploitation and commercialisation of their IP and technology, while providing commercially focused advice that takes account of their wider business objectives.
The position would suit an experienced commercial solicitor who enjoys working closely with clients and wants to develop their practice within a specialist IP environment. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of significant matters, develop key client relationships and work alongside experienced specialists across the firm's wider IP offering. There is also scope for the successful individual to contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice through business development and client relationship management.
Salary: From £88,000+, dependent upon experience, work location and background.
