We are looking for a Senior Portfolio Administrator to join our Portfolio Management team at a London Wealth Manager within their investment department. The postholder will provide administrative support to the Portfolio Managers and line manage a small team of Portfolio Administrators.
Key Accountabilities
- Work closely with team members and Portfolio Managers to understand, review, and improve administrative processes for efficiency and scalability.
- Lead the administrative support team, taking full ownership of admin-related tasks and line management responsibilities.
- Onboard new clients to the service.
- Monitor cash transactions.
- Manage the team inbox and handle inquiries.
- Place trades under the supervision of Portfolio Managers.
- Address queries from Investment Managers.
- Produce sample portfolios and presentations for clients.
- Assist with general administrative tasks.
- Update weekly and monthly reports.
- Prepare data for team and board meetings.
- Organize bulk journals for quarterly management fee rounds.
- Answer calls.
- Maintain high work volume, pursue continual improvements, and adapt to change.
- Share knowledge and support team goals.
Candidate Profile
- Good standard of education (A-level or equivalent).
- Approximately 3 years of administrative experience in Wealth or Investment Management, including staff supervision.
- Proficient in Excel (intermediate level) and comfortable with numerical data.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with a keen eye for detail.
- Proactive approach to work.
- Proven experience in reviewing and improving processes.
