Job summary

Natural Resources Wales is seeking a Senior Officer, Disclosure and Investigative Support to lead evidential management and disclosure across complex investigations. You will advise investigative teams, coordinate schedules and ensure compliance with CPIA, PACE and GDPR.

This role requires travel across Wales and a flexible hybrid working pattern. The post offers Welsh language requirements, ongoing professional development and opportunities to influence enforcement outcomes within NRW.

Qualifications

• Detailed knowledge of CPIA, PACE, GDPR and related regimes.
• Experience in evidential review or criminal investigations.
• Ability to interpret complex legal information and provide clear guidance.
• Strong communication and influencing skills at all levels.
• Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent knowledge and experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead disclosure management across NRW investigations.
• Plan and deliver complex investigations in line with legislation.
• Prepare disclosure schedules, reports and records for proceedings.
• Advise investigators on evidential management and best practice.
• Coordinate cross-team activity and ensure timely delivery.
• Attend court and present witness evidence when required.
• Develop and share best practices across NRW.
