Natural Resources Wales is seeking an enforcement professional to join the frontline, protecting Wales’ rivers, fisheries, and natural resources. You will lead investigations, gather and present evidence, undertake surveillance, respond to incidents, and take action against threats to our environment in a hybrid role with travel to sites.

The post involves providing specialist enforcement expertise, supporting broader environmental crime investigations, and possibly representing NRW in court.

Formación

• Experience in enforcement or regulatory investigations.
• Ability to gather and present evidence for courts or hearings.
• Experience with surveillance and incident response.
• Knowledge of key regulatory regimes.
• Excellent communication with regulated businesses and the public.

Responsabilidades

• Take actions to collect evidence for enforcement purposes, in accordance with defined procedures.
• Provide enforcement support to the wider organisation.
• Deliver and support surveillance operations.
• Provide opinion and advice on enforcement procedures, evidence gathering and warrant applications.
• Coach and develop team members on enforcement policies and procedures.
• Liaise with internal teams and external organisations for sources of intelligence.
• Attend court to represent and give evidence for enforcement actions.
• Respond to incidents and complaints.
• Contribute to a positive health, safety and well-being culture.
• Undertake health and safety duties appropriate to the post.
• Support Equality and Diversity policy.
• Engage in personal development through Sgwrs.
• Participate in incident response activities.
• Perform other duties commensurate with grade.
