Job summary

Natural Resources Wales (Cyfoeth Naturiol Cymru) is seeking a Disclosure Officer to support the management of the legal disclosure process during complex criminal investigations. The post holder will review, schedule and reveal all relevant evidence in compliance with the legislation and will work with the Senior Investigating Officer to support operational teams.

Job description

The role will support the management of the legal disclosure process during complex criminal investigations. They will work with the Senior Investigating Officer and offer their support and service to operational teams. The post holder will be responsible for reviewing, scheduling and revealing all relevant evidence in compliance with the legislation.

When not committed in disclosure duties the officer will be expected to provide support and advice on a broad range of investigative tactics and options for use in live investigations.

The Central Enforcement Support Team provides a once for Wales function for NRW. This means that the team work across all areas and directorates delivering a range of activities from providing the organisations intelligence function, supporting the use of a broad range of legislation, delivering the Strategic Crime Assessment and providing an important link for NRW with a variety of partnerships in the wider law enforcement community.
