The Environment Agency is seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to proactively deliver a portfolio of complex audits—from inception to completion—across governance, risk management and internal control. You will design testing plans, identify risks, and clearly communicate findings through reports and meetings, supported by an Audit Manager, with opportunities to use data analytics and AI tools.

Qualifikationen

• Complete or part‑qualified (>50%) Chartered Internal Auditor (CMIIA), CCAB or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of risk‑based internal auditing, aligned to Global Internal Audit Standards.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver a portfolio of complex audits concurrently.

• Deliver a suite of complex internal audits from the annual plan.
• Identify risks and design testing plans with stakeholders.
• Communicate findings through exit meetings and formal reports.
• Collaborate with Audit Manager and team to ensure quality and timelines.
