Job summary

Environment Agency's Internal Audit team seeks a seasoned auditor to deliver a portfolio of audits from inception to completion, applying risk-based approaches and robust testing plans. You will liaise with stakeholders and deliver clear, actionable reports while travelling to base offices and other EA locations to support audit delivery.

You will bring CIA/CMIIA or equivalent, strong analytical and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage multiple audits on time and within budget in

Qualifications

• CIA/CMIIA or equivalent certification (or part-qualified).
• Knowledge and practical experience of risk-based internal auditing.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver a portfolio of audits concurrently, meeting quality and budget expectations.
• Strong analytical and written communication skills, able to translate findings into clear action plans.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a portfolio of internal audits from inception to completion.
• Identify risks, design and deliver testing plans.
• Communicate findings through exit meetings and formal reports.
• Travel to base office and other Environment Agency locations to support audit delivery.
