Job summary

Applefields School in Scarborough, North Yorkshire, is seeking a Senior Intermediate Care Worker on a permanent part-time basis (18.5 hours per week). Join our Health and Adult Services team as a Senior Intermediate Care Worker and play a vital role in supporting adults and their carers to regain skills, improve wellbeing, and achieve personal goals all within their own homes.

About the Role


You’ll support the Intermediate Care Team Leader to coordinate a small team and deliver short-term, person-centred interventions that promote independence and recovery. This is a hands-on role where you’ll work with people who have the potential to improve their independence, including those with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments, and low-level mental health needs.
