Job summary

Home-Well Homecare in Scarborough and Pickering is seeking relief care workers to provide compassionate, person-centred home care. The role covers personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and assisting clients with community access to promote independence and well-being.

We offer permanent contracts with relief working patterns, focusing on dignity, respect, and quality of life for clients in their own homes.

Person Specification

• Good understanding of the care and support needs of the client
• Ability to use a person-centred approach to undertake the tasks detailed in the client’s care and support plan and in the least intrusive way
• Confident providing input into the care and support plans of clients by regularly feeding back to management
• Ability to use manual handling equipment safely and correctly.
• Good communication skills and ability to develop effective working relationships with clients.
• Listening skills and able to respect the needs of the client.
• Paid travel time
