North Yorkshire County Council is seeking a Senior Intermediate Care Worker in Whitby to support adults to regain independence and wellbeing at home. You will work with the Intermediate Care Team Leader to coordinate a small team and deliver short-term, person-centred interventions.
The role requires experience in adult social care, strong communication and organisational skills, and the ability to travel within the community as part of a 7-day service.

Join our Health and Adult Services team as a Senior Intermediate Care Worker and play a vital role in supporting adults and their carers to regain skills, improve wellbeing, and achieve personal goals all within their own homes.
You’ll support the Intermediate Care Team Leader to coordinate a small team and deliver short-term, person-centred interventions that promote independence and recovery. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work with people who have the potential to improve their independence, including those with physical disabilities, learning disabilities, autism, sensory impairments, and low‑level mental health needs.
