Job summary

Partners in Care Yorkshire in Scarborough is seeking a dedicated support worker to assist an individual with acquired brain injury living in the community. The role focuses on maintaining independence and quality of life through calm, professional, and consistent approaches.

You will work within a multi‑agency team, use de‑escalation techniques, support emotional regulation, and uphold professional boundaries. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for this role.

Qualifications

  • Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required.
  • Experience and understanding of positive behaviour support and brain injury rehabilitation.
  • Ability to work within emotionally demanding environments and multi-agency teams.

Location: Scarborough, Partners In Care Yorkshire

Salary: £13.00 per hour

Contract Type: Permanent

Partners in Care are developing a specialist support team for an individual with anacquired brain injury living within the community who requires a highlyconsistent, psychologically informed approach to support.

The successful candidate will support the individual tomaintain independence and quality of life while helping to reduce distress,conflict, and instability through calm, professional, and consistentapproaches.

This is a specialist position requiring emotionalintelligence and resilience, professional boundaries, reflective practice, and the ability towork collaboratively within a multi-agency environment.

A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle are required for this role.
