Job summary

Public Health Wales is seeking a Senior Interaction Designer to join a national transformation programme focused on weight management services across Wales. You will work with researchers, service designers, clinicians and digital specialists to design accessible, user‑centred experiences grounded in evidence and user needs.

You will translate research findings into intuitive interactions, develop user journeys and prototypes using Figma, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent; experience in interaction design.
• Experience in interaction design on large digital transformation programmes.
• Proficient in creating user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and designs using Figma.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.

Responsibilities

• Design accessible and intuitive interactions for weight management services.
• Create and test user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs using Figma.
• Collaborate with researchers, developers and stakeholders to deliver user-centred solutions.
• Champion accessibility and inclusive design across Wales.
• Support agile delivery across multidisciplinary teams.
• Mentor colleagues and grow design capability across teams.
