Create/Change seeks an experienced Interaction/UX Designer to lead user-centered design across a number of complex digital services projects, combining hands-on Interaction design, along with offering design assurance, specialist advice and related stakeholder engagement.

You will translate business needs into journeys, wireframes, prototypes and UI, ensuring accessible and responsive experiences within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Significant professional UX / interaction design experience.
• Experience delivering complex digital services/projects, preferably Government/public sector with GDS framework.
• Strong user-centred and interaction design.
• Advanced prototyping and design capability.
• Strong understanding of accessibility.
• Experience working in agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder interaction skills.
• Experience with design systems and tools such as Figma.
• Provide specialist UX and interaction design advice.
• Take ownership of complex design problems and outcomes.
• Lead design workstreams and provide design assurance.
• Ability to apply judgement where requirements are complex or ambiguous.
• Understanding of HTML/CSS/JavaScript.

Responsabilités

• Lead UX and Interaction design from discovery through live services.
• Translate business needs and user research into journeys, flows, wireframes, prototypes and UI design.
• Design inclusive, accessible, responsive digital experiences.
• Collaborate with researchers, PMs, content/service designers and delivery leads/managers in Agile teams.
• Facilitate workshops and collaborative problem solving.
• Use prototypes and usability evidence to test and iterate solutions.
• Contribute to design systems and reusable patterns.
• Provide specialist UX/advice and assure the quality of others' work.
