The RAC is seeking a Senior Insight Analyst to shape how we understand, engage and retain customers. In the Retention team you’ll turn complex data into actionable insight that informs stakeholder decisions and improves customer value.

You’ll lead insightful analyses, collaborate with Marketing and Retention, and drive data-led actions in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid working in Bradley Stoke, Bristol, with salary aligned to market and experience plus an annual bonus.

About The Role

Join the RAC as a Senior Insight Analyst and help shape how we understand, engage and retain our customers.

Working within our Retention team, you’ll use customer, digital and commercial data to uncover opportunities, understand churn and improve engagement across the customer lifecycle. You’ll turn complex analysis into clear insight that helps stakeholders make better decisions and deliver stronger customer and commercial outcomes.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analyst who combines strong analytical capability with commercial curiosity. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, lead insight activity and help turn data into meaningful action.

What you’ll do

• Deliver insight and analysis that supports customer retention, engagement and commercial performance
• Analyse customer behaviour and retention performance to identify trends, risks and opportunities
• Explore churn and customer lifecycle data to identify opportunities to improve engagement and value
• Analyse digital, CRM and customer journey performance to uncover areas for improvement
• Turn complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders
• Work closely with Marketing, Retention and other teams to support data-driven decision-making
• Lead analytical deep-dives into emerging business questions and opportunities
• Challenge assumptions and use evidence to influence decisions
• Help measure the effectiveness of retention activity and customer initiatives
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting, insight and analytical approaches

What you’ll need

• Strong experience working within an analytics, insight or commercially focused data role
• Strong analytical capability with the confidence to interrogate complex datasets
• Good SQL skills and experience using data to answer commercial and customer questions
• Experience analysing customer behaviour, journeys, retention or marketing performance
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, meaningful business stories
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Commercial awareness and the ability to connect analysis to wider business performance
• Confidence managing changing priorities and delivering high-quality work to tight deadlines
• A proactive, curious approach with the ability to identify opportunities rather than simply respond to requests
• Experience within a fast-paced consumer, subscription, membership or similarly customer-focused business is required
