Stantec is seeking a DCO Senior/Principal/Associate Planner to join our Infrastructure team in the UK. You will lead planning and consenting workstreams for major infrastructure projects, including Development Consent Orders, and work with clients and multidisciplinary teams to deliver clear programmes and robust applications.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering planning and consenting for major infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of Development Consent Orders (DCO).
• Credibility with clients and stakeholders; practical, solutions-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and consenting workstreams for major infrastructure projects, including NSIPs under the Planning Act 2008.
• Provide planning and EIA strategy advice and manage processes across consenting regimes (DCO, TCPA, DNS).
• Progress project development, advising on methodologies and carrying out assessments.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams to shape deliverable programmes and applications.
• Mentor colleagues and contribute to a collaborative team culture.
