Job summary

WSP Global Inc. is recruiting an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Infrastructure Planning team in the UK. You will lead consenting inputs on major projects, provide technical leadership to clients, and coordinate applications under the Town and Country Planning Acts and Planning Act 2008.

This role focuses on high-profile, nationally significant infrastructure programs. We welcome experts with RTPI membership, strong project finances understanding, and leadership experience to drive

Qualifications

Degree level qualification in town planning (or equivalent).
Member of the RTPI.

Responsibilities

Lead town planning inputs on major infrastructure projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs).
Provide technical leadership and client advice on consenting.
Coordinate consent applications under Town and Country Planning Acts / Planning Act 2008.
Act as Project Director for Infrastructure Planning projects.
Act as Planning Expert Witness at examinations or hearings.
Lead complex negotiations with statutory bodies and stakeholders.
Understand project finances and manage projects in a consultancy setting.
Line management and mentoring within the team.
