WSP in the UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Infrastructure Planning Team and support town planning and consenting on major, nationally significant projects.

You will lead technical work, coordinate consent applications under relevant Acts, and liaise with clients and stakeholders to secure approvals. A degree in town planning and RTPI membership are required, with strong project leadership and mentoring skills.

Qualificações

• Leading town planning or consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs).
• Providing strong technical leadership and advice to clients, managing consenting requirements and client expectations.
• Co-ordinating the preparation and submission of consent applications under Town and Country Planning Acts and related regimes.
• Acting as Project Director for projects led and managed by the Infrastructure Planning team.
• Acting as Planning Expert Witness at DCO examinations or hearings or inquiries.
• Leading on complex negotiations with statutory bodies and stakeholders on behalf of clients.
• Strong understanding of project finances and demonstrable project management experience in consultancy.
• Line management / mentoring colleagues and supporting them in delivery.
