Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Infrastructure Planning Team in the UK. You will lead planning applications, coordinate consenting inputs across major projects, and provide technical advice to clients while liaising with statutory bodies to secure approvals.

You will work with multi-disciplinary teams, build strong client relationships, and contribute to winning opportunities and growth in a consultancy setting.

Qualifications

• Lead preparation of planning applications for infrastructure projects across the UK.
• Provide sound technical advice to clients on consenting requirements.
• Collaborate with statutory bodies and stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Demonstrate awareness of client expectations and needs.
• Engage with cross-disciplinary teams to build knowledge and capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of Town & Country Planning Act applications for infrastructure projects across the UK.
• Support and lead on aspects of consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs etc).
• Provide sound technical advice to clients and support managing their consenting requirements.
• Liaise with statutory bodies and stakeholders on behalf of clients to help deliver projects.
• Lead and engage with teams across disciplines, providing technical oversight.
