Job summary

WSP is seeking an experienced Senior Consultant to join our Infrastructure Planning team in the UK. You will lead and coordinate planning, consenting and advisory work on nationally significant infrastructure projects, collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across the country.

You will engage with statutory bodies, support project finances awareness, and help win new opportunities as part of our growth strategy, while contributing to high-quality client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree in town planning or equivalent.
• RTPI membership or eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation of Town & Country Planning Act applications for infrastructure projects across the UK.
• Lead consenting inputs on major infrastructure projects (DCOs, DNSs, TWAOs).
• Provide sound technical advice to clients and manage consenting requirements.
• Liaise with statutory bodies and stakeholders to deliver projects.
• Lead and engage with teams across disciplines with technical oversight.
• Support knowledge sharing and build internal knowledge base.
