AJ Bell is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to own the design and delivery of medium-sized infrastructure changes. You’ll lead technical work, mentor colleagues and collaborate across Technology Services to ensure resilient, secure platforms for customers.

In this hands-on role you’ll manage risk, document standards and engage with change governance. The ideal candidate has broad infra expertise, strong communication and a track record of delivering reliable outcomes in a regulated

Qualifications

• Strong experience in an Infrastructure Engineer or similar technical role in financial services or regulated environments.
• Ability to own design and delivery for medium-sized infrastructure changes or projects.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues and support incident resolution.
• Experience producing technical docs and handover materials.
• Familiarity with change control, governance and service management processes.

Responsibilities

• Design, deliver and support production infrastructure services.
• Own technical design and execution for medium-size infrastructure changes or projects.
• Coordinate with security, networks, applications and operations teams.
• Mentor and coach junior engineers; manage competing priorities and timelines.
• Document standards, runbooks and implementation plans; support incident resolution.
