Job summary

Matchtech Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer for a contract with a public sector organisation in Cardiff. The role focuses on delivering and maintaining secure, resilient infrastructure and platform services that support critical operations, with emphasis on security by design and compliance.

You will build, administer and harden infrastructure, manage identity and access, monitoring and incident response, and drive automation to improve availability and security across services.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in IT infrastructure engineering, administration and support.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure security, resilience and secure platform design.
• Experience with infrastructure hardening, configuration management and vulnerability management.
• Knowledge of identity and access management principles and security best practice.
