Hitachi Digital Services is seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the optimisation, maintenance, and reliability of core IT infrastructure at the Nissan Sunderland plant. The role requires strong Hyper-V expertise, Cisco networking, and SolarWinds management, with onsite 5 days a week and on-call rotation as needed.

Qualifikationen

• Expert-level Hyper-V administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with failover clustering and virtual switch configuration.
• Strong Cisco networking experience including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless.
• Hands-on SolarWinds administration (NPM, SAM).
• Minimum 5 years in enterprise infrastructure, network, or systems engineering.
• Experience in manufacturing or shopfloor environments is desirable.

Aufgaben

• Manage, optimise, and maintain virtualised environments for production uptime.
• Act as Tier 3 escalation for critical infrastructure issues.
• Support routing, switching, and security troubleshooting activities.
• Manage VLAN configurations across core and access switching.
• Assist with Cisco firewall and wireless environment administration.
• Own enterprise monitoring platform using SolarWinds (alerts, dashboards, reports).
