Job summary

TechNET Immersive Limited in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support business-critical online platforms used by international customers. The role blends hands-on engineering with influence over infrastructure decisions, technology investment and supplier performance.

You will maintain virtualised and hybrid infrastructure, deliver upgrades and resilience improvements, and support Windows Server, AWS and Microsoft 365 services to ensure highly available services.

Qualifications

• Strong practical VMware/vSphere or Hyper-V experience.
• Windows Server, IIS, failover clustering and Microsoft Network Load Balancing.
• Microsoft 365/Entra experience, including Exchange Online, Intune, Defender and Teams.
• Hands-on AWS and Cloudflare experience across DNS, CDN and WAF.
• Evidence of supplier management and responsibility for infrastructure spending.
• Experience supporting highly available, business-critical production environments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve virtualised and hybrid infrastructure.
• Deliver upgrades, migrations and resilience improvements.
• Support Windows Server, Microsoft cloud services and customer-facing applications.
• Evaluate technologies, manage suppliers and contribute to budgets and cost optimisation.
• Resolve complex incidents and communicate clearly with technical teams and business stakeholders.
