Hitachi Digital Services in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to lead the optimisation, maintenance, and reliability of core IT infrastructure at the Nissan Sunderland plant. You will be the Tier 3 escalation point for complex system and network issues, ensuring high availability in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role requires strong virtualization, enterprise monitoring, and Cisco networking expertise, with responsibility for SolarWinds dashboards,

Qualificações

5+ years in enterprise infrastructure, network, or systems engineering.
Expert-level Hyper-V administration and troubleshooting.
Experience with failover clustering and virtual switch configuration.
Strong Cisco networking experience, including routing, switching, firewalls, and wireless.

Responsabilidades

Manage, optimise, and maintain virtualised environments to maximise uptime.
Act as Tier 3 escalation for complex infrastructure issues.
Support routing, switching, security, and wireless troubleshooting.
Own enterprise monitoring platform using SolarWinds, including dashboards and alerts.
Provide onsite production support and participate in planned maintenance.
