Job summary

Cabot Credit Management is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to deliver robust, secure, and scalable technology services across the organisation. You will provide 3rd line support, technical leadership, and contribute to incident resolution, design reviews, and project delivery.

Qualifications

• Expert level NetApp Ontap and AFF skills.
• Strong expertise in Windows Server platforms.
• Experience with VMware and Microsoft AVD.
• Microsoft Exchange (2016/2019 Hybrid), Office 365, and PowerShell scripting.
• Dell Server Hardware knowledge.
• Veeam Backup and Replication.
• Web technologies (IIS, .NET).
• Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DFS, DHCP, WINS.
• Windows/SQL clustering.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
• Understanding of ITIL processes and service management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security across infrastructure and service delivery.
• Lead vulnerability management, patching, and preventive maintenance.
• Provide technical leadership and 3rd line support for complex incidents.
• Review and contribute to infrastructure design and project delivery.
• Support IT governance, compliance, and audits (SOX, PCI-DSS).
• Operate within ITIL, manage incidents, problems, and changes.
• Plan and execute disaster recovery testing for business continuity.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimise systems for performance and integrity.
• Collaborate with internal teams, partners, and vendors.
• Integrate security and best practices into technology decisions.
