Job summary

Evelyn Partners is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer in Liverpool to join the Infrastructure Operations team. You will provide third-line support across Windows Server, AD, DNS, certificates, and virtualization, while contributing to cloud/hybrid initiatives and security remediation efforts.

The role involves delivering infrastructure changes, coordinating CAB processes, and supplying detailed evidence for regulatory audits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a third-line Infrastructure Engineer in a regulated/enterprise environment.
• Broad Microsoft infrastructure experience including Windows Server, AD, DNS and certificate services.
• Experience with cloud/hybrid infrastructure, preferably Azure and related components.
• Familiarity with security and audit evidence gathering for ISO/IEC 27001, NIST, SWIFT and Cyber Essentials+.
• Experience with CAB/change management, impact assessment and rollback planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide third-line technical support across infrastructure services (Windows Server, AD, DNS, certificates, virtualization, storage, networking).
• Support infrastructure delivery for projects, migrations, and service transitions.
• Own remediation tasks from investigation to implementation and handover.
• Assess impact, risk, and dependencies for infra changes; prepare change records and CAB representations.
• Support audit activity with technical evidence, remediation plans and asset information.
• Gather infrastructure data for audit requests and maintain documentation.
