Job summary

Michael Page is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer in Liverpool to maintain and enhance IT systems within the life science sector. You will ensure high availability, performance, and security of critical infrastructure.

You will oversee upgrades, patching, backup and DR planning, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This permanent, onsite role offers £55,000–£60,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Senior infrastructure, cloud or technical lead experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure, Entra ID and Intune.
• Windows Server, Active Directory and VMware experience.
• Enterprise networking, firewalls, VPNs and security.
• Experience leading infrastructure or cloud projects.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation and communication skills.

• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Implement and oversee system upgrades, patches, and security measures.
• Provide technical support and troubleshoot infrastructure-related issues.
