Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in infrastructure or systems engineering
• Strong experience with Microsoft infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory)
• Knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
• Experience with VMware/virtualisation and hyperconverged infrastructure
• Experience with firewalls, WAFs and load balancing (F5 preferred)
• Experience with cloud or hybrid infrastructure
• Automation via PowerShell or IaC
• Experience with monitoring/observability platforms
• Security hardening and vulnerability management
• Experience in regulated environments such as PCI DSS

Responsibilities

• Own and improve infrastructure across cloud, on-premise and hybrid environments
• Design and implement infrastructure improvements
• Manage Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory/Entra ID
• Support virtualised and hyperconverged infrastructure
• Manage enterprise networking (routing, switching, firewalls, load balancing, WAFs)
• Improve infrastructure through automation and IaC
• Build monitoring, observability and alerting across services
• Own patching, vulnerability remediation and hardening
• Support highly available systems including backup and disaster recovery
• Maintain secure access, identity and infrastructure controls
• Work in PCI-regulated payments environment
• Maintain infrastructure documentation and runbooks
• Evaluate new cloud, infra, security and automation technologies
• Collaborate with DevOps, Security, Engineering and Technical Operations
• Act as senior escalation point for engineers
