Evolution Money Ltd. is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to provide senior technical support across on-prem and cloud environments, ensuring availability, security and compliance of core platforms in a regulated financial services setting.

You will escalate complex incidents, lead infrastructure projects, and partner with Service Desk, Apps/DevOps, and Security teams. The role demands strong ITIL discipline and hands-on expertise with Windows, VMware/Hyper-V, and cloud services.

Qualifications

• Experience acting as escalation point in small technical teams.
• Hybrid Azure estate administration (IaaS & PaaS).
• Proficient in Windows Server and desktop OS.
• VMware vSphere and Hyper-V experience.
• Backup/DR tooling knowledge (e.g., Veeam).
• Strong security and incident response practices.

Responsibilities

• Act as the technical escalation point for complex infrastructure issues from 1st/2nd line and service desk.
• Lead or support major incident response, including triage, containment, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
• Produce high-quality RCA/post-incident reports with preventative actions and measurable follow-ups.
• Maintain and enhance monitoring/alerting to improve early detection and reduce repeat incidents.
