Job summary

Confidential Financial Services is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to shape the technology estate, overseeing cloud, infrastructure and security across an enterprise-scale environment. You will translate business needs into scalable, secure designs, lead cloud transformations, and provide technical leadership to engineers and stakeholders, ensuring compliance.

This role offers influence on strategic technology direction while staying hands-on with design work and collaboration

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in infrastructure architecture and platform engineering.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale Azure/hybrid solutions.
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies, networking, security, and identity services.
• Experience working with stakeholders in regulated environments such as banking or financial services.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and evolution of cloud and infrastructure platforms.
• Translate business requirements into scalable, secure and resilient technical solutions.
• Drive infrastructure modernisation and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Develop high-level and detailed technical designs for new technologies and services.
• Collaborate with project teams, engineers and third-party suppliers to deliver successful outcomes.
• Review existing services and identify opportunities to improve performance, security and reliability.
• Establish and promote infrastructure standards, best practices and design principles.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend new capabilities where appropriate.
• Ensure solutions are aligned with security, compliance and operational requirements.
