Senior Infrastructure Engineer : SharePoint

Location: Birmingham, Bristol, Leeds, Newcastle:upon:Tyne, Nottingham, Oldham, Swansea

Salary: Up to GBP 57,400 per annum

The Role

DVSA plays a crucial role in maintaining safety standards on the roads, conducting tests, and overseeing vehicle-related matters in the UK.

The Digital Workspace team designs, builds, and supports the core devices and software used by colleagues across the country. They deliver highly automated, fully cloud-managed Microsoft and Apple solutions, with a focus on Digital Employee Experience, continuous improvement, security, and sustainability. SharePoint is used as a central platform for collaboration, document management, and intranet services, alongside Microsoft Teams and OneDrive.

They seek a SharePoint expert in the Digital Workplace space who can configure, deploy, and manage SharePoint online, OneDrive, and Teams workloads to enhance collaboration. Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To

• Drive improvements to deliver new and updated core infrastructure services based on business and user needs to ensure maximum value.
• Monitor the evolving infrastructure landscape through publications, releases, and external events.
• Maintain core infrastructure services by identifying problems, supporting resolutions, and documenting causes and remedies.
• Implement functional, performance, and quality improvements to the infrastructure estate.
