Job summary

Razorblue Group is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join our growing IT team. You will resolve monitoring issues, ensure stable core infrastructure and hosting platforms, and support delivery alongside the Cloud & Infrastructure Team Leader.

You will mentor Service Desk engineers, provide high-level infrastructure support, and contribute to disaster recovery and upgrade projects to keep clients resilient. "Hybrid" working is offered post-probation with career growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in advanced infrastructure environments and cloud/on-premise hybrid setups.
• Strong practical experience with backup and disaster recovery tooling.

• Qualifications - Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) and Zerto Certified Associate (desirable)
• Backup and Replication - Veeam (Backup & Recovery, Office 365 and Cloud Connect), Zerto, in multi-tenant environments
• Automation - Automation and scripting using Ninja, Ansible, Puppet; scripting languages PowerShell, Python, Bash
• Microsoft 365/Azure - Managing Microsoft Azure & Office 365 including Conditional Access, Azure AD Connect, Exchange Online/Hybrid, SharePoint, Teams, Intune/Endpoint Manager
• Virtualisation - Maintaining and updating VMware vSphere and Hyper‑V environments, including replication and failover
• VOIP - Experience supporting FreePBX, Mitel, Gamma, Skype/Teams VOIP systems
• Windows Server - Installing, configuring, supporting Active Directory, Exchange Server, Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, NPS, IIS, ADFS, ADCS in complex enterprise environments
• Storage - Maintaining, updating, troubleshooting SAN devices; configuring iSCSI connectivity; managing and troubleshooting ceph clusters
• Remote Desktop Services - Experience supporting and troubleshooting RDS, RemoteApp and Citrix environments (on-prem and cloud)
• Networking - Network troubleshooting at 3rd line; supporting Palo Alto, Sophos, FortiNet, Draytek, Juniper, Cisco firewalls
• Endpoint Support - Experience with Windows desktop, application, tablet and mobile device support
• Soft Skills - Effective communication; methodical approach to diagnosis and documentation; independent research; organisation and prioritisation; full clean UK driving license
