LM RECRUITMENT SOLUTIONS LTD is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join a Gloucester-based on-site team. You will own infrastructure projects end-to-end, including migrations, upgrades and security improvements, while supporting a global IT environment.

You will work with international colleagues and lead initiatives to deliver scalable, compliant IT infrastructure. Strong experience in networks, servers, virtualization, and Azure is essential; automation and resilience are valued.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in IT infrastructure including networks, servers, virtualisation and Azure.
• Proven ability to manage and deliver technical projects.
• Good understanding of security and compliance (ISO 27001, CE+, GDPR).
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver infrastructure projects (migrations, upgrades, rollouts).
• Manage and optimise IT infrastructure across the UK environment.
• Work with global teams to align standards and processes.
• Ensure systems are secure, scalable, and compliant.
• Support disaster recovery and business continuity planning/testing; provide technical guidance to the team.
• Engage with vendors and manage third-party services.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Gloucester (on-site)

Normal working hours: Monday-Thursday 08:00-16:30 and Friday 08:00-15:00

Salary: £55-£65k

Were looking for an experienced Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer to join our team, with a strong focus on delivering infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for someone who can take ownership of projects end-to-end while also contributing to the ongoing development and support of a global IT environment.

Youll work closely with international colleagues and lead initiatives such as system upgrades, migrations, and improvements to security and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver infrastructure projects (e.g. migrations, upgrades, rollouts)
