Job summary

Manchester Digital Campus (MDC) seeks a Deputy Information and Documents Manager to lead secure information governance across the MDC programme. You will set standards for data management, oversee EDMS usage, and partner with senior managers to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

Reporting to the MDC Information and Documents Manager, you will line-manage one HEO Document Controller, coordinate training, and drive end-to-end information handling across design, build and operations.

Qualifications

• Experience in information governance and secure data handling.
• Knowledge of electronic document management systems (EDRMS).
• Ability to coordinate with senior stakeholders and delivery partners.
• Line management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day data and information management across lifecycle.
• Lead information governance training and audit compliance.
• Line manage one HEO Document Controller.
• Maintain document control workflows and secure repositories.
• Report breaches and support risk mitigation.
