Job summary

Envirogen Group in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Industrial Service Engineer to lead the delivery of complex industrial water purification service and maintenance contracts. This hands-on role combines field service with customer relationship management and process optimisation to ensure uptime and product quality.

You’ll travel frequently, perform on-site installation, maintenance, diagnostics, and training, and support commercial negotiations.

Qualifications

GCSE Maths and English at grade 5 or above.
Desirable: Engineering qualification at ONC level or higher.
Proven experience in servicing and optimising large-scale industrial water treatment systems.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Perform on-site installation, maintenance, process optimisation, and repair of large-scale industrial water treatment systems.
Electrical diagnostics and ladder logic fault finding.
Ensure contractual service obligations are met.
Deliver training to field staff and customers.
Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through timely and professional service.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and prospects.
Conduct regular customer meetings to confirm lifecycle support.
Promote new technologies and rental assets.
Ensure remedial works are quoted to maintain uptime and maximise account value.
Assist with scoping, costing, and contract finalisation.
Support proposal development and commercial negotiations.
Provide input on market trends and growth opportunities.
Support marketing initiatives including trade shows and seminars.
Contribute to the development and promotion of new technologies.
