Job summary

Envirogen is seeking a Service Engineer for field-based work in the South Midlands / Oxfordshire. The role focuses on on-site corrective and preventive maintenance for water treatment equipment across industrial sectors, with a company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.

You will perform risk assessments, create reports, and participate in an on-call rota after training, ensuring minimal downtime and high customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experienced in industrial water treatment equipment servicing.
• Hands-on with installation, repair and modification work across pipework and controls.
• Able to understand electrical, mechanical and P&ID drawings.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site technical support for water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair complex system issues to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance activities to minimize system downtime.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement engineering solutions.
• Assist with equipment installations and commissioning activities.
• Train customers on the operation and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment systems.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
