Job summary

The Sheffield College is seeking a Higher Level Inclusion and Support Facilitator to provide high-quality learner-centred support for students and to lead a small team of Learning Support Workers. The role includes developing inclusive strategies, reviewing progression against EHCP outcomes, and collaborating with teaching staff across curriculum areas.

Key duties involve coordinating transition activities, implementing IILPs and EHCPs, and promoting safe, positive learning environments in line

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners in FE/secondary environments.
• Ability to adapt support methods to diverse learning styles.

Responsibilities

• Provide learner-centred, high-quality support for students.
• Lead a small team of Learning Support Workers.
• Coordinate with teaching staff to review progress and EHCP outcomes.
• Assist with transition and onboarding for students with EHCP/SEN.
• Develop inclusive teaching plans and safeguarding compliance.
• Monitor learner progress and behaviour, reporting to staff.
