Job summary

Capel Manor College in London seeks a Learning Support Coordinator to assess and coordinate support for students with learning difficulties or disabilities. You will run initial interviews, complete high needs funding forms, and organise risk assessments and annual reviews while coordinating SEN services across the college.

You will manage the Learning Support Assistant timetable, oversee access arrangements and dyslexia support, and work with safeguarding and inclusion to ensure high standards

Qualifications

• Experience in an educational setting supporting learners with SEND or learning difficulties.
• Knowledge of SEND Code of Practice and Education and Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
• Excellent communication and organisational skills with safeguarding commitment.

Responsibilities

• Assess and coordinate support for students with declared learning difficulties or disabilities.
• Complete initial interviews, high needs funding forms, risk assessments and annual reviews.
• Coordinate SEN services (e.g., manage LSA timetable, access arrangements, dyslexia support).
